The Mahoning-Shenango Kennel Club was incorporated in1935 and is an AKC member club. The club meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 8 p.m., at St. George’s Byzanitine Church in Youngstown Ohio. The Mahoning-Shenango Kennel Club was formed for the purpose of advancing the best interest of the dog and the dog fancy in all matters: to encourage and support dog shows: to emphasize the value of pure breeding, to create an appreciation on the part of the public of the value of pedigreed dogs; to foster and maintain the highest sportsmanship.
